National Highways have put a holding objection on the Winterbourne Fields application due to various concerns. They believe “it remains not possible to demonstrate that the application would not have an unacceptable impact on the safety, reliability and/or operational efficiency of the SRN.”

This further provides evidence that Winterbourne Fields is not a sustainable development, not only from an environmental stand point but also an infrastructural.
